Church of St. Wenceslaus

Přibyslavice (German Pribislaw , formerly Přibislawitz ) is a district of the municipality Vlkaneč in Okres Kutná Hora in the Czech Republic . It is located 7.5 kilometers south of Čáslav .

geography

Přibyslavice is located on a plateau above the source of the Bratčický creek and Stroupínovský creek in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . Tisá skála (394 m nm) rises to the northeast

Neighboring towns are Tupadly , Adamov and Pilský in the north, Zálesí and Bratčice in the Northeast, Rousínov, Pisek, Okřesaneč and Chrastice the east, Podmoky the southeast, Kozohlody , Vlkaneč and Klucké Chvalovice in the south, Kocanda , Zbýšov and Šebestěnice in the southwest, Hološiny and Březí in the west and Zbudovice and Schořov in the northwest.

history

The first written mention of Přibyslavice took place in 1226 as the property of Jaroš of Přibyslavice. From 1242 the village belonged to the Teutonic Order Coming Drobovice . The church was probably built in the late 13th century by the order of knights.

In the middle of the 18th century the Entie Přibislawitz was incorporated into the allodial rule of Žleb . The manor house in Přibislawitz fell into disrepair at the beginning of the 19th century. Karl Wilhelm II von Auersperg had part of the castle demolished in 1825.

In 1840 the rustic village of Přibislawitz consisted of 46 houses in which 329 people, including three Jewish families, lived. The branch church of St. Wenceslas was under the patronage of the authorities. The princes of Auersperg run an aristocratic Meierhof in the village , and there was also a Dominical sheep farm and an inn. The one-layer Kozanda was enrolled in Přibislawitz . Přibislawitz was the burial place for Kozohlod and Podmok .

After the abolition of patrimonial Přibyslavice formed a municipality in the judicial district of Časlau , Caslaver Kreis. From 1868 the municipality belonged to the Časlau district . In the course of the territorial reform of 1960, the Okres Čáslav was repealed; Přibyslavice was incorporated into Vlkaneč and assigned to the Okres Kutná Hora.

On March 3, 1991 the place had 108 inhabitants, at the 2001 census, 69 people lived in the 54 houses in Přibyslavice.

The settlement of Kocanda ( Kozanda ) belongs to the district of Přibyslavice . The district forms the cadastral district Přibyslavice u Vlkanče .
