Kozohlody (German Kosohlod ) is a district of the municipality Vlkaneč in the Kutná Hora district in the Czech Republic . It is located about 1 km north of the village of Vlkaneč and 5 km east of Golčův Jeníkov , and 14 km south of Čáslav . The place has 168 inhabitants and a cadastral area of 3.8 square kilometers.

Kozohlody is located on a left tributary to the Brslenka in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The Znojmo – Nymburk railway runs south of the village .
Neighboring towns are Přibyslavice , Zálesí and Bratčice in the north, Podmoky , Kopaniny, V Slatině and Ráj in the northeast, Golčův Jeníkov in the east, Římovice , Budka, Dolík and Chlumek in the southeast, Statek, Kamenná Lhota and Nová Ves u Leštiny in the south, Vlkaneč Klucké Chvalovice in the southwest, Chvalovický Mlýn and Zbýšov in the west and Opatovice, Bojanka, Šebestěnice , Březí and Kocanda in the northwest.
history
The village was founded at the beginning of the 14th century by the Teutonic Order and belonged to the Kommende Drobovice . After the Komtur Ratmir the village was named as Ratimirivilla or Ratmersdorf . In the papal tithe list from 1352, which is also the oldest written evidence for the church, the village was first listed under the name Kozohlod . In 1364 the place was called Ratmerzdorf .
After the abolition of patrimonial Kozohlody formed a municipality in the judicial district of Časlau , Caslaver Kreis. From 1868 the municipality belonged to the Časlau district . In the course of the territorial reform of 1960, the Okres Čáslav was repealed; Kozohlody was incorporated into Vlkaneč and assigned to the Okres Kutná Hora.
On March 3, 1991, the place had 186 inhabitants, at the 2001 census, 168 people lived in the 64 houses of Kozohlody.
