Adamov (German Admannsdorf , older Adamsdorf ) is a municipality with 112 inhabitants (January 1, 2004) in the Czech Republic . It is located at 306 m above sea level. M. seven kilometers south of Čáslav on the left bank of the Čáslavka and belongs to the Okres Kutná Hora .
history
Admannsdorf was built in 1784 on the corridors of Bratschitz , to which it belonged as a district. Originally the village was called Adamsdorf. It was rebuilt in 1784 by Prince Johann Adam von Auersperg and named in his honor. Together with Bratčice, the place was incorporated into Potěhy in 1960 . As a result of a referendum, Adamov has been an independent municipality since 1990.
