history

The area around the Sudějovka well, located in the middle of a dense forest area on the borders of several lords, served as a place of refuge for the residents of the surrounding villages during the Thirty Years' War . During this time, children were baptized with the water of the spring; At the same time, the spring water was said to have a health-promoting effect and healing properties against eye diseases. After the end of the war, the spring became a destination for pilgrimages . In 1659 and 1689, the Jesuits, as owners of the nearby village of Žandov, built a wooden chapel with an image of St. Build Anna . Due to the increasing number of pilgrims who came not only from Bohemia , but also from Moravia and Hungary, the owner of the Petschkau estate, Johann Joseph Graf Trauttmansdorff , decided to replace the chapel with a stone pilgrimage church. The church was built from 1724 onwards by his successor, Karl Joachim von Breda . The church consecration by the Kolín dean took place in 1725 on the day before St. Anna , since then there has been an annual pilgrimage on the Sunday after St. Anna. The place of pilgrimage belonged to the parish Nebowid , because of the great distance between St. Anna and the parish, von Breda donated its own chaplain to the church, who was subordinate to the Nebowid pastor. After the completion of the church, a rectory and a bath were built, in which pilgrims washed themselves with water from Sudějovka .

In 1734 a stately tavern was built near the pilgrimage church, and a little later, more houses were built on the grounds of the other rulers. Around 1740, various benefactors founded Ambites around the church. From the proceeds of the pilgrimages, the statue of John of Nepomuk was erected on the road to Rašovice in 1749. In 1755 a full-team arbitration commission between the Červené Pečky manor and the Jindice manor led negotiations over Annadorf . In 1774 a school was set up and lessons were held in a chalet next to the rectory. On the initiative of the landlord Gottfried von Koch was employed by the church a Lokalist 1792, its maintenance rule Petschkau landtäflich assured. In 1812, instead of the chaluppe, a stone school building was built in which one class was taught. The preservation of the ambit was so neglected that in 1819 the high state office ordered its demolition. The spring water was mainly used for bathing purposes, a chemical analysis for recognition as mineral water was never carried out.

In 1840 the village of St. Anna consisted of 44 houses in which 251 people lived. Of these, 36 houses belonged to the Petschkau estate, 5 houses to the Inditz ( Jindice ) estate , 2 houses to the Hradek ( Červený Hrádek ) estate and one house to the Bečwar estate . The local church St. Anna, the localist house and the school were located on the Petschkau part under the patronage of the authorities; there was also an inn with a bathing establishment. St. Anna was the parish for Buda , Groß-Kralitz ( Kralice ), Klein-Kralitz ( Kraličky ), St. Johann ( Svatý Jan t. Krsovice ), Stein-Lhota ( Kamenná Lhota ), Raschowitz , Schandau , Piwnisko , Wschesok ( Všesoky) ), Werniřow ( Vernýřov ) and Schwabinow ( Švábínov ); a branch church existed in St. Johann.

After the abolition of patrimonial the Petschkauer part formed under the name Sudějov t. Svatá Anna a municipality in the judicial district of Kohljanowitz, Caslaver Kreis with the districts Sudějov t. Svatá Anna 2. díl , Kamenná Lhota and Líšťany. From 1868 the community belonged to the Kuttenberg district . Sudějov t. Svatá Anna 1. díl belonged to the Rašovice municipality until 1921.

The school was expanded in 1863 to accommodate two classes. In 1902 the school building burned down, in November 1903 the new school building was inaugurated. Between 1934 and 1946, a chapel was built over the spring, from which the spring water is fed into the church. The village has been called Sudějov since 1961 . The school in Sudějov was closed in 1963 because the number of students was too low; the building now houses the town hall and two apartments. The district of Kamenná Lhota was reassigned to Čestín in September 1971 .
