Bludov (German Bludau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 15 kilometers southwest of Čáslav and belongs to the Okres Kutná Hora .
geography
Bludov is located in the valley basin of the Bludoský potok on a clearing in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . To the north is the Katlov reservoir.
Neighboring towns are Katlov and Mladá Zhoř in the north, Zhoř in the north-east, Petrovice I in the east, Víckovice in the south-east, Třebětín in the south, Řeplice in the south-west, Radvančice and Zbraslavice in the west and Zdeslavice in the north-west.
history
Bludov was first mentioned in a document in 1550.
After the abolition of patrimonial Bludov became an independent municipality in the Kuttenberg district in 1850. In 1929 the village was electrified. Bludov was incorporated into Zhoř in 1950 and became part of Červené Janovice in 1961 . Bludov regained its independence on November 24, 1990 and is one of the smallest municipalities in the Czech Republic.
