Chrastice (German Chrastitz ) is a district of the municipality of Skryje in the Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers north of Golčův Jeníkov and belongs to the Okres Havlíčkův Brod .
geography
Chrastice is located on the Výrovka brook in the Doubravská brázda ( Doubrava Basin ). The Znojmo – Nymburk railway runs west of the village ; the Golčův Jeníkov train station is just under a kilometer southwest of Chrastice.
Neighboring towns are Okřesaneč and Na Podhájí in the north, Hostačov in the Northeast, Skryje and Křemen the east, Jezuitský Mlyn, Sirákovice and Stupárovice the southeast, Ráj in the south, Podmoky in the southwest, Pisek and Přibyslavice the west and Bratčice , Vystrkov and Horky in the northwest.
history
Chrastice was first mentioned in a document in 1577 under the property of the Hostačov fortress. At that time the settlement consisted only of a Meierhof. Around 1650 Maria Magdalena von der Goltz acquired the Hostačov estate and gave it to the Jenikau rulership . From 1686 Chrastice was again part of the Hostačov estate, which was sold to Johann Georg Funck von Funcken. In the middle of the 18th century Chrastice came back to Goltsch-Jenikau.
In 1840 the village Chrastitz or Chrasstice , located in the Caslauer Kreis , consisted of 10 houses in which 44 people, including a Protestant family, lived. The parish was Žleb . Chrastitz remained subject to Goltsch-Jenikau until the middle of the 19th century .
After the abolition of patrimonial Chrastice formed from 1849 a district of the municipality Skryje in the judicial district of Habern . From 1868 the place belonged to the Časlau district . In 1869 Chrastice had 100 inhabitants and consisted of 13 houses. At the end of the 19th century the place was called Chraštice . In 1900 there were 92 people living in Chrastice, in 1910 there were 89. In 1930 Chrastice had 94 inhabitants and consisted of 19 houses. Since the territorial reform of 1960 the village has belonged to Okres Havlíčkův Brod . In early 1989 it was incorporated into Golčův Jeníkov . Since November 24, 1990, Chrastice has been part of Skryje again. In the 2001 census there were 12 people living in the 9 houses in the village.

- Chapel of St. Wenceslas, built in 1929 on the occasion of the 1000th anniversary of his death, it is equipped with a clock from the Hostačov castle
