Skryje (German Skrey , also Skrej ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers north of Golčův Jeníkov and belongs to the Okres Havlíčkův Brod .

geography

Skryje is located on a left tributary to the Hostačovka in the Doubravská brázda ( Doubrava Basin ). Hostačovský rybník is located to the north-east.

Neighboring towns are Zehuby , Kamenné Mosty and Hostačov in the north, Kněžice , Na Doubravě and Zvěstovice in the Northeast, Moravany the east, Spytice , Křemen, Na Doubravě, Potěšilka, Jezuitský Mlyn and Sirákovice the southeast, Stupárovice in the south, Ráj in the southwest, Chrastice and Písek in the west and Na Podháji and Okřesaneč in the northwest.

history

The first written mention of Skryje took place in 1464. After the fall of the Lipovec manor , King Ladislaus Jagiello left the manor with Lipovec, Skryje and other villages jointly to his Colonel Chancellor Jan von Šelmberk and Jan Šmatlan von Močovice in 1483. Later Skryje was added to the Jeníkov rule . When Emperor Ferdinand II gave the rule to his General Feldzeugmeister Martin Maximilian von der Goltz in 1636 , Skryje was one of the 15 associated villages. The school was built in 1827.

In 1840 the village of Skrey or Skreg in the Caslauer Kreis consisted of 23 houses, in which 168 people, including a Protestant family, lived. A private school was under the patronage of the community. There was also an inn in the village. The lordly Křemen sheep farm was on the side. The parish was Žleb . Until the middle of the 19th century, Skrey remained subject to Goltsch-Jenikau.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Skrej 1849 with the districts Chrastice and Hostačov a municipality in the judicial district stakeholders . From 1868 the place belonged to the Časlau district . In 1869 Skrej had 189 inhabitants and consisted of 24 houses. At the end of the 19th century the village was called Skrýje , then Skryje . In 1900 there were 199 people in Skryje, in 1910 there were 147. In 1930 Skryje had 237 inhabitants and consisted of 45 houses. Since the territorial reform of 1960, the municipality has belonged to Okres Havlíčkův Brod . 1961 Sirákovice and Stupárovice were incorporated. The school was closed in 1966 due to insufficient student numbers. At the beginning of 1976, Zvěstovice and Spytice were incorporated . In early 1989 Skryje was incorporated into Golčův Jeníkov . Since November 24, 1990, Skryje has again formed its own municipality. In the 2001 census, 194 people lived in the 75 houses in the municipality, 12 of them in Chrastice (9 houses), 105 in Hostačov (24 houses) and 77 in Skryje (42 houses).

Community structure

The municipality of Skryje consists of the districts Chrastice ( Chrastitz ), Hostačov ( Hostatschow ) and Skryje ( Skrey ). Skryje also includes the Křemen ( Krzemen ) and Na Doubravě layers. Basic settlement units are Chrastice and Skryje.

The municipality forms the cadastral district of Skryje u Golčova Jeníkova.

Attractions

  • Hostačov Castle, the Renaissance building is now used as a hotel and conference center.
  • Chapel in Skryje, the clock tower comes from the Hostačov castle and was bought by the municipality. A memorial plaque for the victims of the Second World War is attached to the chapel.
  • Chapel of St. Wenceslas in Chrastice, built in 1929, is also equipped with a clock from the Hostačov chateau
