history

The village was probably founded during the Slavic expansion in the second half of the 13th century or in the 14th century according to the Lote system . The first mention of Lhota was made in 1436, when King Sigismund the castle Lipnice for faithful service hereditary to Nicholas Trčka of Lípa overwrote. Later the Lords Trčka from Lípa moved the seat of the lordship to Světlá . In the 16th century the village was called Karpíškova Lhota . In 1633 the Věž manor was separated from Světlá and connected to the Okrouhlice manor ; at that time the village belonging to the Věž manor was called Olešná Lhota . After the murder of Adam Erdmann Trčka von Lípa, Emperor Ferdinand II confiscated his property and those of his father Jan Rudolf Trčka von Lípa on March 29, 1634 , the total estimated value of which was 4,000,000 guilders ; the confiscation patent was confirmed in May 1636 by the Reichshofrat in Vienna. Philipp Adam zu Solms-Lich , who had acquired the Okrouhlice estate in 1637, sold the Květinov and Věž estates in 1640 due to high debts. After that, Olešná Lhota first belonged to the Friedenau manor and was then added to the Věž manor again. The village was called Lhotka since the 18th century .

In 1840 the village of Lhotka or Lhota in the Caslauer Kreis consisted of 35 houses in which 207 people, including two Jewish families, lived. There was a manorial brandy distillery in the village. The parish was in Krasnahora . Until the mid-19th century was Lhotka the Good WIEZ servants.

After the abolition of patrimonial Lhota formed a community in the judicial district of Deutschbrod from 1849 . From 1868 the community belonged to the Deutschbrod district . In 1869 Lhota had 270 inhabitants and consisted of 39 houses. In 1900 there were 273 people in Lhota , in 1910 there were 272. At the end of the 19th century the name Hurtova Lhota was created , which the municipality has been using as the official place name since 1924. In 1930 Hurtova Lhota had 259 inhabitants and consisted of 47 houses. In 1961 it was incorporated into Poděbaby and on April 30, 1976 after Havlíčkův Brod . On January 1, 1993, Hurtova Lhota broke away from Havlíčkův Brod after a referendum. In the 2001 census, 223 people lived in the 71 houses in the community.
