In 1840 the village of Knik in the Caslauer Kreis consisted of 27 houses in which 185 people lived. The six-house Dominikal settlement Böhmisch-Pfaffendorf was consolidated at Knik . The parish was Unter-Kraupen . Knik remained subordinate to the royal city of Teutschbrod until the middle of the 19th century .

After the abolition of patrimonial Kník formed from 1849 with the districts Rozňák and Zbožice a municipality in the judicial district Deutschbrod . From 1868 the village belonged to the Deutschbrod district . In 1869 Kník (with Český Dvůr ) had 262 inhabitants and consisted of 31 houses. Between 1896 and 1898 the community built a school house at its own expense to set up a branch of the Unter-Kraupener school. In the fall of 1899, classes could begin.
