Chrtníč (German Chrtnitz , also Chirtnitsch ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers northwest of Habry and belongs to the Okres Havlíčkův Brod .

geography

Chrtníč is located on both sides of the Radinovka stream in the Hornosázavská pahorkatina ( hill country on the upper Sázava ). The Horní bahna ( Spitzfeld , 501 m nm) rises northeast of the village .

Neighboring towns are Statek, Chlumek and Dolík in the north, Kobylí Hlava , Olšinky, Nasavrky , Frýdnava and Fabiánka in the northeast, Rybníček u Habrů and Haberský Dvůr in the east, Habry and Kysibl in the southeast, Mlýn Kysibl and Lubno in the south, Sázavánka in the south , Radinov and Leština u Světlé in the west and Okrouhlík, Hrbolka, Nová Ves u Leštiny and Kamenná Lhota in the north-west.

history

The village was probably founded at the beginning of the 14th century as part of the colonization activities of the Benedictine monastery Wilmzell . The place name is derived from the personal name Chrtník . It was first mentioned in a document in 1391. The owners of the village included the royal city of Čáslav and later the Lords Trčka von Lípa . After the Thirty Years War, the village was added to the Habern estate , and later it became part of the Goltsch-Jenikau rule . Over time, the place was u. a. referred to as Chrtnijky and Chrtnice .

In 1840 the village of Chrtnitz in the Caslauer Kreis consisted of 51 houses in which 302 people, including three Protestant and one Jewish family, lived. There was an inn in the village. To Chrtnitz was konskribiert the public from a Chapel of St. Bartholomäus, a manorial farm and a mill existing one-layer Radenau and Radoniow . The parish was Habern. Until the middle of the 19th century, Chrtnitz remained subject to Goltsch-Jenikau.

After the abolition of patrimonial Chrtnice formed from 1849 with the district Kobylí Hlava a municipality in the judicial district of Habern . From 1868 the place belonged to the Časlau district . In 1869 Chrtnice had 328 inhabitants and consisted of 51 houses. In 1873 a village school opened. Since up to 120 children attended the two-class school, the wooden schoolhouse was soon too small. In 1893 a new stone schoolhouse was built. At the end of the 19th century, Kamenná Lhota 1st díl became part of Chrtnice . The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1899. In 1900 there were 342 people in Chrtnice , in 1910 there were 414. Kobylí Hlava broke up in 1919 and formed its own community. In 1924 the municipality name was changed to Chrtníč . In 1930 Chrtníč had 357 inhabitants and consisted of 66 houses. After the end of the Second World War, Kamenná Lhota 1. díl was umgemeindet after Nová Ves . In 1949 the community was assigned to the Okres Chotěboř. Chrtníč has belonged to Okres Havlíčkův Brod since the territorial reform of 1960 . The school closed in 1969. In the 2001 census, 157 people lived in the 61 houses of the community. The former school building now houses the town hall, a restaurant, a common room and a fitness center.
