Úhořilka (German Preußdorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located ten kilometers south of Havlíčkův Brod and belongs to the Okres Havlíčkův Brod .
geography
Úhořilka is located in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in the valley of a small brook. To the south-west rises Máselený kopec (624 m) and northwest of Turkův kopec (598 m).
Neighboring towns are Lipský Dvorek in the north, Kochánov and Okrouhlička in the northeast, Skřivánek in the east, Studénka and Štoky in the southeast, Bukovec and Chyška in the south, U Matéjíčků and Úsobí in the southwest, Kukačka and Chválkov in the west and Dobrohostovov.
history
The first written mention of Prussdorf took place in 1454. Since the 17th century, the village had the Czech name Auhorzilka . Up until the middle of the 19th century, Prussdorf was subject to the secular rule of the Windig Jenikau foundation fund .
After the abolition of patrimonial Prussdorf / Ouhořilka formed a community in the Deutschbrod district from 1850 . The place belonged to the Iglauer language island and was mostly German populated. At the end of the 19th century the name Preussdorf was created . The German population was expelled after the Second World War . In 1961 it was incorporated into Kochánov and together with it in 1976 to Lípa . In 1990 Úhořilka was established again.
