Koekkoek (family)
The Dutch Koekkoek family produced seventeen painters over five generations (1778–1989).
Many of the artists who came from the family dedicated themselves to romantic landscape and marine painting . Her works are shown in international museums. The BC Koekkoek house in Kleve has been a museum for the family's work since 1960.

two of her five daughters became painters:- Adèle Koekkoek (1838–1919), née Adelaide Alexandrine, painter of still lifes and landscapes;

Hermanus Koekkoek the Elder (1815–1882), marine and landscape painter, had three daughters Anna Elisabeth (* 1842), Elisabeth Johanna Maria (* 1845) and Johanna Maria (* 1848) and four sons:

Hermanus Koekkoek the Younger (1836–1909), marine and landscape painter;
his son was:- Stephen Robert Koekkoek (1887–1934), landscape painter, Post-Impressionist, married to Nella Azzoni , one son;

Willem Koekkoek (1839–1895), marine and landscape painter, married to Johanna Hermina ;
her sons were:-
Hermanus Willem Koekkoek (1867–1929), military, landscape and marine painter, draftsman, watercolorist and illustrator, had a daughter with Louise Johannah de Layen :
- Louise Hermina Carry May Koekkoek (1898–1989), sculptor and painter;

Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek the Younger (1873–1944), animal and landscape painter;
his son was:- Cornelis Koekkoek (1903–1982), painter, lithographer and graphic artist, later convicted Nazi propagandist
