Kolešov (German Kolleschau ) is a district of the municipality of Pšov in the Czech Republic . It is located four kilometers southeast of Žlutice and belongs to the Okres Karlovy Vary .

Kolešov is located in the Tepler highlands on the eastern slope of the Na Vršku hill (581 m). In the northeast rises the Vladař (693 m) and in the northwest of the Nevděk (630 m).
Neighboring towns are Strahovský Mlýn and Záhořice in the north, Vladořice in the northeast, Bohuslav and Radotín in the east, Močidlec and Víska in the southeast, Novosedly in the south, Pšov in the southwest, Kobylé in the west and Hradský Dvůr and Žlutice in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of the village comes from 1239 as the seat of Vladiken Nekmír von Kolešov, which can be traced back to 1252. Subsequently, the place was the seat of various Vladiken families. The village was parish after Kobylé.
In 1850 the political municipality of Kolleschau / Kolešov was established in the Luditz district . In 1890 Kolleschau consisted of 13 houses and had 51 German-speaking residents. In 1930 the village had 57 inhabitants. After the Munich Agreement , Kolleschau was added to the German Reich in 1938 and the village belonged to the Luditz district until 1945 . In 1939 Kolleschau had 55 residents. After the end of the war, Kolešov returned to Czechoslovakia and in 1949 was classified as a district of Močidlec in the Okres Toužim. On January 1, 1961, it was incorporated into Pšov , at the same time the village became part of the Karlovy Vary Okres. Kolešov is now a resort, most of the houses are used as holiday homes. In 1991 the place had 6 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 3 houses in which 4 people lived.
