The European block train network eu.NETdirekt + consists of the direct and shuttle train connections that Kombiverkehr offers, especially in cross-border traffic within Europe to and from Germany. The block train network offers over 672 direct and shuttle trains per week to over 28 accessible countries in Europe. The de.NETeco + network enables CO 2 -free transport on the main rail . The electricity required for the transport comes entirely from renewable energy sources.

In 2017, 884,168 truck shipments (equivalent to 1.77 million TEU) were transported by rail, of which 180,405 shipments were national and 703,763 shipments were international. A shipment corresponds to the capacity of a truck or articulated truck.
