Komissariwka ( Ukrainian Комісарівка ; Russian Комиссаровка Komissarowka ) is a village in the central Ukrainian Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with 845 inhabitants (2012).
geography
Komissariwka is located on the Komissariwka River in the center of Pyatychatky Rajon . The district center of Pyatychatky is 13 km southwest of the village. Komissariwka is the center and the only village in the 70.8312 km² district of the same name .
history
The village was founded in the early 17th century and was part of a Cossack state . In the years 1754 to 1759 and from 1761 to 1764 the place belonged to the territory of the Novoslobidskyj Cossack Regiment, an administrative-territorial and military unit in Ukraine.
According to other sources, the village was founded in 1756.
