Sajiwka ( Ukrainian Саївка ; Russian Саевка Sajewka ) is a village in the western part of the Ukrainian Oblast Dnipropetrovsk with 1000 inhabitants (2016).
The village, founded in 1807, is located in the southeast of the Pyatychatky Rajon on the left bank of the Saksahan , which is dammed up here to form the 13.3 km² Makorty reservoir . The M 04 / E 50 trunk road runs north of the village and connects Saivka with the Pyatychatky district center 16 km away in the west and the Dnipro oblast center 97 km in the east. The closest train station is in Saksahan Village .
Landratsgemeinde
Sajiwka is the administrative center of the district council of the same name, founded in 1938. Its total area is 119.467 km² with a population of 1,977 residents (2012). The population density of the sparsely populated district council is only 17 inhabitants per km².
To district municipality Sajiwka that in the east on the communities Katerynopil ( Катеринопіль ) and Kudaschiwka ( Кудашівка of) Krynychky Raion borders, heard the village Dolynske (Ukrainian Долинське , Russian Долинское / Dolinskoje ) with 856 inhabitants and an area of 192.8 hectares and the village of Ternuwate (Ukrainian Тернувате , Russian Терноватое / Ternowatoje ⊙ ) with 85 inhabitants and 95 hectares.
