Sawro ( Ukrainian and Russian Савро ) is a village in the west of the Ukrainian Oblast Dnipropetrovsk in Pyatychatky Raion with about 500 inhabitants (2012).


The village, which was founded in 1921 by emigrants from the nearby villages of Saksahan and Showte , is located in the south of Pyatychatky Rajon, 18 km south of the Pyatychatky Rajon center and 3 km from the nearest train station on the Pyatychatky - Krywyj Rih railway line .

Community structure

Sawro is the administrative center of the district council of the same name .
