Sawro ( Ukrainian and Russian Савро ) is a village in the west of the Ukrainian Oblast Dnipropetrovsk in Pyatychatky Raion with about 500 inhabitants (2012).

The village, which was founded in 1921 by emigrants from the nearby villages of Saksahan and Showte , is located in the south of Pyatychatky Rajon, 18 km south of the Pyatychatky Rajon center and 3 km from the nearest train station on the Pyatychatky - Krywyj Rih railway line .
Community structure
Sawro is the administrative center of the district council of the same name . This borders in the north-west on the city of Shovti Vody , in the west on the municipality Chervon belonging to the Rajon Krywyj Rih and in the south on the municipality Ordo-Wassyliwka of the Rajon Sofijiwka . The total area of the district council is 85.7711 km² and the total population is 1,538 inhabitants (2012). In addition to Sawro, the district council also includes the villages
