history
The predecessor was the Lower Saxony University of Applied Sciences for Administration and Justice (FHVR) based in Hildesheim , which existed from August 1979 to September 30, 2007. In September 2007, the Lower Saxony state parliament passed the law to reorganize training for the higher non-technical administrative service. Thereafter, among other things, the Lower Saxony University of Applied Sciences for Administration and Justice was dissolved. As a result, on October 1, 2007, the Municipal University of Applied Sciences for Administration in Lower Saxony was established in Hanover.
