The Hanover University of Applied Sciences is a private , state-recognized university of applied sciences with locations in Hanover (1996) and Celle (2003–2005).

history

The FHDW is supported by the Bildungszentrum für Informationsverarbeitende Berufe gGmbH. With the establishment of the University of Applied Sciences in Paderborn in 1993, the company entered the university landscape in North Rhine-Westphalia . In 1996, the Hanover University of Applied Sciences (FHDW) was founded as a further technical college in Lower Saxony .

Education

The FHDW offers practice-integrated / dual bachelor's and master's degree courses in the fields of business administration, computer science and business informatics.

Ranking

The StudyCheck evaluation platform ranked FHDW Hannover in second place out of 74 universities in 2019. In 2020, the FHDW Hannover also took second place - out of a total of 108 universities assessed.
