description

The river cruise ship with two passenger decks in 1956 in the Slovak shipyard Národný Podnik Škoda in Komárno as kompozitor Glazunov first for the shipping company "Wolschskoje Retschnoje Parochodstwo" in Nizhny Novgorod built and later "Kamskoje Retschnoje Parochodstwo" (Kama River Shipping Company) in Perm passed . She belonged to a series of 36 ships of the Rossiya class produced between 1952 and 1958 , which was also known as "Project 785" or "OL800" (Slovak: osobna lod 800 - German: passenger ship 800 hp). The Kompozitor Glazunov has a diesel-electric drive with two main engines and has been modernized.

After the sinking of the sister ship Bulgaria in 2011 on the Volga, the operation of the Kompozitor Glazunov was severely hampered by the authorities in charge, who panicked after discovering ionizing radiation from radioactive substances on board. Due to the concern of the government in Moscow, the ship was stopped in Saratov, the travelers were to be carried on to Moscow in buses, although they wanted to continue the river journey. The shipping company "Wodaflot Moscow" had declared that if the operation of Kompozitor Glazunov were to be hindered, the passengers would be transported by the Saizew World Cup .
