Konradswüsten is a small district or a settlement on the north-eastern slope of the Scharpenacker Mountains in the Wuppertal residential area of Hammesberg in the Heckinghausen district .

history

The first written mention of the desert farm (1805: Weuste, 1824: Conrads desert) took place in 1547. In 1715 Erich Philipp Ploennies recorded the farm in his work Topographia Ducatus Montani .

In 1832 Konradswüsten belonged to the Scharpenacker Rotte in the rural outskirts of the city of Ronsdorf . The place, categorized as a hamlet according to the statistics and topography of the administrative district of Düsseldorf, was called Conrads desert at that time and at that time had five residential buildings and two agricultural buildings.
