In the Middle Ages and the early modern period, the Honschaft Erbschlö was one of four honors (alternative spelling Honnschaft ) in the parish of Lüttringhausen in the Bergische Amt Beyenburg, along with the Honschaft Wallbrecken , Garschagen and Hohenhagen .

history

Individual farms of the Honschaft were already mentioned in the late Middle Ages: 1312 Erbschlö , Heidt , Boxberg , Huckenbach , 1352 Wolfskuhle , 1426 Baur , 1471 Voßholt , Marscheid , Groß- or Kleinsporkert , Großhülsberg , Kottsiepen , Böckel , Stall , 1502 Scharpenack , Schmalenhof , Blombach , 1547 birches and holthausen .

After the Ronsdorf church was founded in the 18th century, the honor was assigned to the parish of Ronsdorf. In 1744 the Honschaft is described as " a corporal body [...] von Rotten umb Ronsdorf ". These nine Rotten (Erbschlöer Rotte, Holthauser Rotte, Scharpenacker Rotte, Marscheider Rotte, Blombacher Rotte, Hülsberger Rotte, Boxberger Rotte, Staller Rotte and Heider Rotte) were separated from the judicial district of Lüttringhausen in 1745 and formed until the merger in 1846 with the city of Ronsdorf (city district ) now the foreign citizenship Ronsdorf (rural district).

In 1749 24 yards and two hammers belonged to the Honschaft, in 1832 the foreign citizenship consisted of 65 living spaces , cottages and hammer mills.
