The Marscheider Bach , a direct tributary of the Wupper , flows directly past the place.

history

Kleinbeek was first mentioned as In der Beek in 1547. The place belonged in the late Middle Ages and the early modern times to the Honschaft Erbschloe in the parish of Lüttringhausen of the Beyenburg office .

In 1832 Kleinbeek belonged as Beek to the Marscheider Rotte of the rural outskirts of the city of Ronsdorf . The place, categorized as a hamlet according to the statistics and topography of the administrative district of Düsseldorf , had six residential buildings and three agricultural buildings at that time. At that time there were 30 people living in the village, two Catholic and 28 Protestant. In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province of 1888, four houses with 36 inhabitants are given.
