Konstantin Lukinov ( Russian Константин Лукинов ; born July 12, 1989 in Moscow ) is a Russian pianist .

Konstantin Lukinov was born in Moscow in 1989. He received initial piano lessons from his parents, who were both professional musicians. At the age of five he became a student at the Moscow Gnessin Music School for particularly gifted children. In 1997 he and his family moved to Germany.

At a young age he received numerous awards such as regular first prizes at Jugend musiziert , several prizes in the international competition Munich Piano Podium as well as the Eduard Soering Prize of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben . At the age of eight, Lukinov received guest studies at the Augsburg University of Music and continued his educational path at the St. Stephan high school in Augsburg, which he dropped out in the 11th grade in order to be able to devote himself fully to music. It was in 2010 prize winner at the German Music Competition in the category duo piano - violin and was in the Young Artists' Association selection concerts of the German Music Council added. Companions in his musical career included Ludmilla Gourari (Munich), Lev Natochenny at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts and Ivan Glebowitsch Sokolov at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory . He also attended master classes with Klaus Hellwig and Elisso Wirsaladse .

Lukinov has performed recitals and piano concerts throughout Europe. For example, he appeared at international music festivals such as Temešvár, MúsicaMallorca and Beethoven und Moderne , where he interpreted a cycle of six Beethoven piano sonatas . In April 2018 he took part in the Mozart Week in the Seeon Abbey and in the Chamber Music Festival at Schaubeck Castle . He was also invited to make sound recordings at Bavarian Radio .

With the bass-baritone Maximilian Lika he worked as a song accompanist with Schumann's Dichterliebe and Schubert's Winterreise , among others . Based on classical music, Lukinov developed his own expressive languages ​​in the areas of jazz , art rock and New Age . His own compositions and improvisations on stage complement his musical work as a classical concert pianist.

Lukinov now lives in Augsburg, his adopted home .
