The Korbinian-Aigner-Gymnasium Erding (KAG Erding) is a linguistic , scientific-technological and musical high school . It is located on the western outskirts of Erding and was opened in 2004.

The grammar school is named after Korbinian Aigner . Over 100 teachers teach over 1200 students.

Awards (selection)

In 2015, the KAG was honored as a MINT- friendly school and is one of 49 reference high schools in the “School of Education” program at the Technical University of Munich .

Also in 2015, the KAG received an award from IN FORM in the national competition “Great, cook!” For the “Healthy Pausenbrot” project.

The school is also a participant in the state program “good, healthy school”; The school was named “School of the Year” in the category “Health thought ahead” for the “Healthy School” project by the student magazine Unicum Abi and the Barmer GEK .

Also in 2016, State Secretary Georg Eisenreich and vbw General Manager Bertram Brossardt awarded the school the “isi - Internal School Development and School Quality Innovation Prize 2016” from the Bavarian Education Pact Foundation for “excellent performance in the field of internal school development” .

For its commitment to sustainability and environmental protection, the grammar school was one of 104 Bavarian schools that were allowed to use the title “ Environmental School in Europe ” for one year .

On October 17, 2016, the educational institution was declared a “reference school for media education” by the Bavarian Ministry of Culture and thus became one of the 149 schools in Bavaria that are regional multipliers of media education.

In 2015, the Bavarian Ministry of Europe awarded the school the "Europe Certificate" for the administrative district of Upper Bavaria .
