The Korean War Memorial (전쟁 기념관 서울) is located in Seoul, South Korea and was opened on June 10, 1994. It is both a war memorial and a military museum . In addition, the division of Korea should be remembered and a Korean reunification should be encouraged.
The structure is the former headquarters of the South Korean Army . It has four floors above ground and two floors below ground. The area is 20,000 m².

To commemorate the wars in which Korea was involved and to commemorate their fallen and to commemorate the partition of Korea, the following objects are located in the forecourt (plaza):
- Memorial in memory of the Korean War (전쟁 기념관); Dagger shape; Bronze sculpture, height: 8 meters, consists of 2 parts that symbolize the regions of North and South Korea, next to it 2 almost semicircular groups of figures of soldiers (bronze sculptures)
- Memorial "The Two Brothers" (兄弟 像, North and South Korean soldiers embrace [oversized]; bronze sculpture)
- Bronze clock tower with two times, one clock is at 4 o'clock (June 25, 1950).
- The names of all (known) Korean soldiers who fell in the Korean War and the Vietnam War are carved on black marble tablets on one of the pedestals . There are also South Korean soldiers who died in clashes with North Korea and South Korean police officers who were killed on duty.
Permanent exhibition
The museum displays around 13,000 objects from all of Korea's military history . Most of the objects are in the building, but there is also a large outdoor area with around 100 exhibits (war equipment).

On the theme of the Stone Age, a fragment of the Bangudae petroglyphs is shown, the oldest known artifacts in the country. Outside there is a stele from 414 (dedicated to King Gwanggaeto of Goguryeo, weight: 37 tons).
