The Feldkirchen power plant is a run-of-river power plant operated by the Austrian Verbund AG . The power plant is located on the Inn near Feldkirchen in the municipality of Rott am Inn .
The hydropower plant was built by Innwerke between 1967 and 1970 . Their successor E.ON Wasserkraft GmbH sold the power plant in 2009 to the Austrian Verbund AG .
The system consists of a four-span weir on the east side and the machine house with three turbines on the west side. The switchgear to connect the power plant to the power grid is located on the west bank .
