The Teufelsbruck power plant is a run-of-river power plant operated by the Austrian Verbund AG near the Upper Bavarian village of Teufelsbruck in the municipality of Soyen . Parts of the facility are also located in the neighboring communities of Babensham and Unterreit .

In order to be able to expand the aluminum smelter in Töging, which until then had been supplied with electricity by the Töging power plant , Innwerk AG commissioned the planning of power plants on the Inn . One of the power plants was finally built in Teufelbruck am Inn. The Gars power plant and the Wasserburg power plant were built at the same time .

The power plant, built from 1935 to 1938, consists of a four-span weir on the right bank and a power house with 5 Kaplan turbines on the left. There is no machine hall, the two gantry cranes operate outdoors. A fish pass was laid out during the construction of the facility .

The successor of Innwerk AG, E.ON Wasserkraft  GmbH , sold the power plant in 2009 to the Austrian Verbund AG.
