The Nussdorf run-of-river power plant is a hydropower plant in Nussdorf am Inn (Bavaria) owned by the Austrian Verbund AG , which took over from E.ON Wasserkraft GmbH in 2012 ( Innwerke takeover).
The pier power plant was put into operation in 1982 and has two sets of machines with an output of 24 megawatts each . A Kaplan turbine with a standing shaft and an umbrella generator is located in one of the two turbine piers erected between the three 18 meter wide weir fields. The storage target of 464 m above sea level. NN and the mean water level in the underwater area of 453.35 m above sea level. NN result in an average height of fall of almost twelve meters. The power plant generates around 250 million kWh per year.
