The Kristallspitzl (also: Kristallspitze) is at 3005  m above sea level. A. the lowest three-thousand-meter peak in the Glockner group in East Tyrol . The first ascent by crossing north-south took place on August 13, 1920 by G. Küne and R. Wolte.

location

The Kristallspitzl is located in the south of the Glockner Group in the core zone of the Hohe Tauern National Park . It is located in the northeast of the municipality of Kals am Grossglockner south of the Long ridge located between the tariff peak ( 3024  m above sea level. A. stretches) in the north and the Kristallspitzl. The Kristallspitzl is separated in the southeast by the Kristallschartl ( 2939  m above sea level ) from the Kreuzwandspitze ( 3031  m above sea level ), to the north is delimited by the Rumesoischarte ( 2950  m above sea level ) the Green Head ( 3005  m) o. A. ). To the southwest, the Beilscharte ( 2892  m above sea level ) separates the Kristallspitzl from the Dreifinger ( 2933  m above sea level ). Promotion opportunities

The normal route to the Kristallspitzl leads from the road to the Moaralm in the Kalser Valley , initially on the footpath into the Teischnitz Valley . Shortly after a bridge over the Teischnitzbach, the ascent leads to the south-facing Kar Tschadinepfohl and over the slopes of Unteres Beil and Oberes Beil to the west ridge, where you can easily climb to the summit ( I + ). In addition, an ascent from the Rumesoischarte and the north ridge is also possible ( II ).
