The Krumbach (usually called Krumbächle ) is a left tributary of the Kammel . Over the Kammel and the Mindel it is an indirect right tributary of the Danube in Bavaria . From the municipality boundary between the municipality of Waltenhausen and the city of Krumbach (Swabia) , the river is a third-order body of water.

course

The source of the Krumbächle is located north of the village of Halden near Herretshofen in the municipality of Kirchhaslach in the Unterallgäu district . From there the Krumbächle flows in a northerly direction. The Krumbächle flows southwest of the hamlet of Weiler into the municipality of Waltenhausen in the district of Günzburg . The confluence of the hamlet into the Krumbächle is located north of Waltenhausen. After the confluence of these two streams, the valley of the Krumbächles becomes a little wider. About five kilometers further downstream, the Krumbächle reaches the southern outskirts of Krumbach, where it joins the Kammel after about another kilometer.

Localities

Places that are directly on the Krumbächle are Waltenhausen and Krumbach .

Others

After heavy rain events, the Krumbächle often floods after a short time.

The Kneipp circular path, which runs for almost 4 km through Krumbach, runs a long part along the Krumbächle. The natural treading pool that is part of this circular route is located in the Krumbächle.
