Culture Prize of the German Trade Union Federation
The Culture Prize of the German Trade Union Federation was founded in 1963 by the German Trade Union Federation . On May 16, at the opening of the Ruhr Festival in Recklinghausen, DGB chairman Bernhard Tacke announced the foundation deed for the cultural award.
The Culture Prize of the German Trade Union Federation was awarded to cultural achievements that strengthen the intellectual and moral forces of the social movement: through works of art or science or through practical social, cultural or cultural-political activity.
