Kunčí (German Kuntschi ) is a district of the town Slatiňany in the Okres Chrudim . It is located about two kilometers southeast of the city center of Slatiňany. In 2001 it had 95 permanent residents in the place. The cadastral area of ​​Kunčí is 2.43 square kilometers.

Kunčí is located on the right side above the Chrudimka valley in the Chrudimská tabule ( Chrudim Tafelland ). On the north-western edge of the town are the Návesní rybník and the Mazánek, two larger ponds. To the west of the village runs the Silnice I / 37 between Slatiňany and Nasavrky .

Neighboring towns are Orel in the northeast, Zaječice in the east, Bítovany and Na Bišovce in the southeast, Lukavice , Hliník and Na Pilce in the south, Borek, Svídnice and Trpišov in the southwest, Kochánovice and Mlýn ve Skalách in the west and Škrovád and Slatiňany in the northwest.

history

The first written mention of Kunšově dvoře took place in 1512. In 1789 the village was called Kuntschen .

Since 1868 the village belonged to the Chrudim district . In 1961 it was incorporated into Slatiňany.

On March 3, 1991 the place had 84 inhabitants, in the 2001 census 95 people lived in the 48 houses of Kunčí.

Local division

Kunčí forms a cadastral district. The Borek and Mlýn ve Skalách strata belong to the district.
