Art of the world
Art of the World (with the addition: its historical, sociological and religious foundations ) was a book series on the history of art by Holle Verlag in Baden-Baden, which was published from 1959 to around 1971 in 51 volumes (and an additional register volume), some of them in several editions , appeared.
The volumes are divided into two subject series, The cultures outside of Europe and The cultures of the West (the latter edited by JA Schmoll gen. Eisenwerth ).
