Kurt Haymann
Kurt Haymann (born May 10, 1955 in Munich ) is a former German entrepreneur and politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). From 1995 to 1997 he was state chairman of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Bayern , from 2002 to 2004 and from 2009 to 2010 he was a member of the attac coordination group .
Life
Haymann studied history, social studies and sports at a grammar school and, after passing the state examination, initially worked at a Waldorf school . Then he started his own business as a squash teacher and managing partner of a culture and leisure center and wrote several books about this sport. The company got into economic difficulties, in 1995 it was dissolved due to bankruptcy rejection due to lack of assets .
Haymann was a co-founder of the Bavarian Greens and its state chairman from 1995 to 1997, but resigned there in 2001. Since 2000 he has been involved in the globalization-critical network Attac, in whose coordination group (federal board) he was elected in 2002.
In 2003 he became managing director of the Gaststätten-GmbH in Munich's Eine-Welt-Haus , which went bankrupt in 2004 . In 2005 he left the Attac coordination group. From 2009 to 2010 he was again a member of the Attac coordination group.
Today he works as a psychotherapist.
