LCAW

LCAW (born November 8, 1994 in Munich , real name Leon Christoph Alexander Weber ) is a German DJ , music producer and multi-instrumentalist specializing in dance and electro-pop .

Life

Weber was born in Munich and grew up there in a family of classical musicians, took piano, drums and cello lessons at an early age and aimed to study music. At a young age he won the federal prize at the Jugend musiziert competition , was a member of the Federal Youth Orchestra and the youth orchestra of the Bavarian State Opera ATTACCA and took part in music projects. Although he originally comes from classical music, Leon Weber has built up a global fan base with his unusual club sound. After his remixes generated more than 80 million clicks on SoundCloud and YouTube , LCAW entered the top 50 of the German airplay charts in 2016 with its debut single Painted Sky . Worldwide DJ appearances followed with tours in Australia, North America, Europe and Asia. Man In The Moon (feat. Dagny) , released in early 2017, recorded over 3 million Spotify streams and more than 500,000 YouTube views. Weber also reached the HypeMachine charts at number 2 with Nobody Else But You , released in summer 2017, and later released Staring At The Sun and Desires with the Danish band WhoMadeWho . Meanwhile, his tracks have recorded over 15 million total plays.
