Laços de Família is a Brazilian telenovela that was first broadcast between June 5, 2000 and February 2, 2001 by Rede Globo . The original Brazilian version comprises 209 episodes, the international, for example broadcast in Portugal, 150 episodes. The scripts for the telenovela were written by Manoel Carlos in collaboration with Maria Carolina, Vinícius Vianna, Flávia Lins e Silva and Fausto Galvão. Directed by Moacyr Góes and Leandro Neri. The producers were Ricardo Waddington, Rogério Gomes and Marcos Schechtman.

The main roles were played by the actresses Vera Fischer and Carolina Dieckmann as well as the actors Reynaldo Gianecchini, José Mayer and Tony Ramos. The actress Deborah Secco was the main antagonist.
