LaLeLu is a four-member a cappella - comedy group from Hamburg.
history
LaLeLu was founded in 1994 by Stefanie Hoffmann (soprano), Sören Sieg (tenor, born November 1, 1966), Jan Melzer (baritone, tenor born February 11, 1969 in Thuine ), Tobias Hanf (bass, born April 26, 1972 in Uelzen ) founded. Stefanie Hoffmann left the group in 2002 and was replaced by Sonja Wilts (born September 26, 1974 in Hilden ). After her departure in February 2008, Sanna Nyman (* 23 August 1977 in Lahti , Finland) took over the female part. Frank Valet (* 20 November 1971 in Hamburg ) has been singing baritone since Sören Sieg left in June 2012 .
Most of the compositions, texts and arrangements come from Sören Sieg.
The name of the group is derived from the lullaby La-Le-Lu sung by Heinz Rühmann and Oliver Grimm from the film When the Father with the Son . This song was an integral part of the stage show for a long time and is still sometimes sung as an encore today.
The repertoire of LaLeLu consists of melodies from all genres, from jazz and pop music , to folk songs (including Low German and dialect) and hits , hard rock and country to film music and advertising jingle . In most cases, the text is modified in a funny way and presented in the form of a parody. Changing costumes and using meaningful props are part of the quartet's performances. In addition, there are original compositions, imitations of sounds, instruments and voices as well as sometimes cabaret presentations of the titles.
Her program The Thin Years Are Over (Premiere 2013) dealt with the midlife crisis. What do three mature images of men do with a significantly younger woman? In their life counseling program Pech im Unglück (premiered in 2010), the four Hamburgers went in search of happiness and targeted life counseling books and happiness seekers. Your program Grundlos vain - Das Deutschlandprogramm (Premiere 2008) dealt with the content of the German province or provincial Germany and varies in the regional focus depending on where you are performing. Take me with you! For the wedding show (premiered in 2007), LaLeLu presented a uniform concept for the first time in the form of an a cappella musical on the subject of marriage. And every year LaLeLu goes on tour with their constantly renewed Christmas program with LaLeLu (first premiere in 2001).
