A state nature conservation association (LNV) is an umbrella organization of voluntary nature and environmental protection associations at state level in Germany. LNV are registered as a " registered association " ("eV").

Baden-Württemberg State Nature Conservation Association

The Landesnaturschutzverband Baden-Württemberg e. V. (LNV [BW]) was founded in 1971. It is a nature conservation association recognized in accordance with the Environmental Protection Ordinance Act § 3 and an umbrella organization recognized in accordance with the State Nature Conservation Act § 51 with 34 member associations, which represent around 540,000 members (September 2015), including several large state associations . The authorized representative is the chairman of the association, Gerhard Bronner; the association is entered in the register of associations at the Stuttgart District Court with registration number 2787 . The Executive Committee comprises 19 members in 2016 end, including representatives of major member associations and decentralized, largely independent LNV working groups from Baden-Wuerttemberg urban and rural districts as well as individual addition of the LNV- General Assembly directly elected people. The association is the only full-time institution that has a "regional office" in Stuttgart .

The LNV BW “gives its opinion on the plans and projects of authorities and other institutions that influence nature, the environment and the landscape; draws up proposals on legal and organizational issues related to nature and environmental protection; informs its member associations about current developments; raises public awareness of nature and environmental protection; sees himself as an advocate for nature and represents the interests of nature and environmental protection vis-à-vis authorities, courts and private individuals as well as in federal, state, local and association politics ”; In addition, LNV BW is a partner in the Climate Protection and Energy Agency Baden-Württemberg GmbH .

State Nature Conservation Association Schleswig-Holstein

The Landesnaturschutzverband Schleswig-Holstein e. V.
