State school student councils Schleswig-Holstein

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Schleswig-Holstein State Schoolchildren Representatives (LSVen SH for short) are the legitimate representatives of the interests of the student body anchored in the state's school law. The state student councils in Schleswig-Holstein are structured according to type of school. There is one LSV for the grammar schools , one for the community school students, one for the students at vocational schools and one for the support centers.

tasks

The task of the LSVs in Schleswig-Holstein is to represent the opinion of the pupils to the state parents 'council, the teachers' representatives, but above all to the parties in the state parliament and to the education ministry. In the specific case this means that the LSVs have to attend all educational policy hearings in the state parliament, e.g. B. to the school law, be asked to a hearing and are allowed to represent the opinion of the pupils. Furthermore, the LSVs can put questions and requests to the ministry and the parties in the state parliament and actively participate in educational policy.

structure

The state student councils in Schleswig-Holstein are structured according to type of school. Each type of school has its own state student parliament and its own state board. One or two delegates from each school take part in the state student parliament; the number varies depending on the type of school. These state student parliaments elect a state student spokesperson from among their number, as an external representative and as chairman of the state board, the first deputy state student spokesperson, and eight other board members who complete the state board. The state student representative and his deputy are elected every year for a one-year term.

The so-called regional working group meetings are convened at regular intervals of three months. The four state student representatives from the various school types, as well as another delegate from the respective state board, are sent to this meeting. This body serves as a platform for communication among the LSVs SH and for mutual cooperation. In addition, the federal delegation is legitimized by this body. The LSVen SH take part in the federal student conference . The first federal delegate is elected, who should represent the concerns of the pupils to the federal bodies. The first deputy and the second deputy federal delegate are added. The federal delegation is elected and sent from among the state boards of the LSVs at the LAG of the LSVs SH.

Content orientation

All state boards work separately from one another and are not obliged to have or represent the same opinion. The state student councils of vocational schools, grammar schools and community schools have a basic program adopted by the state student parliament, which is constantly being expanded and updated in the state student parliament. The basic program of the LSV of the grammar schools can also be found on their homepage and is publicly available. According to this program, the state board works and acts to the best of its knowledge and belief.
