Langeskov is a small town in Denmark with a population of 4090 (as of January 1, 2020). It belongs to the Kerteminde municipality , which is located in the region of southern Denmark on the island of Funen .
The town of Langeskov is primarily located in the parish of Rønninge and was founded in the nineteenth century following the construction of the railway line between Odense and Nyborg . The city grew rapidly. Its northern part now crosses the old municipal boundary and extends to the parish of Birkende . Until January 1, 2007, Langeskov was the seat of the board of directors of the former Langeskov municipality .
The Rønningestenen (No. DR 202, Fyn 30) is a rune stone that stands in the Karnhaus of Rønninge Kirke near Langeskov. In Langeskov there is a model of the Pulpit Rock , the famous attraction of the sister town Forsand .
