The Laperwitzbach is a stream in the municipality of Kals am Großglockner ( Lienz district ). The stream rises below the Laperwitzkees and flows north of the Kalser Tauernhaus into the Kalserbach . Its name is derived from the Slavic lapor ( marl ).
course
The Laperwitzbach is fed by several spring streams, which are fed by the meltwater of the Laperwitzkees. This is located between the Aderwand, Ödenwinkelwand , Eiskögele , Schneewinkelkopf , Romariswandkopf and Romariswand. The source streams flow to the west or south-west and unite to the south-west of the "Bichl", the extension of the vein wall (south ridge of the Ödenwinkel wall). Shortly afterwards, the Lapwerwitzbach takes on the Aderbach on the right-hand side, which is fed by the meltwater of the Vorderen Kastenkees and partly also from the Laperwitzkees. The Laperwitzbach flows in the lower reaches to the north past the Böheimebenalm and flows north of the Kalser Tauernhaus on the left into the upper reaches of the Kalserbach called Seebach.
