Lara Schützsack (* 1981 in Hamburg ) is a German author with a focus on children's literature and screenplay .

Live and act

Lara Schützsack studied at the University of Potsdam German , General and Comparative Literature and American Literature and Culture and subsequently at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin the field screenplay .

She took part in two multi-award-winning films, in Die fetten Jahre sind über (2004) as a small actress and she wrote the screenplay for Draußen ist Sommer (2012) together with Friederike Jehn .

Of the three book titles she has published so far for children and young people, the first, Und auch so bitterkalt (2014), has won multiple awards, translated into Danish and dramatized by the Hanover Theater .

Lara Schützsack lives and works in Berlin .
