Lauren Boden

Lauren Boden (now Lauren Wells; born August 3, 1988 ) is an Australian hurdler who specializes in the 400-meter distance and is also used in the 4-by-400-meter relay because of her sprinting strength .

In 2006 she was eliminated from the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in the preliminary stages and was ninth at the Athletics World Cup in Athens .

In 2010 she was fifth over 400 m hurdles at the Continental Cup in Split and fourth over 400 m hurdles and in the 4 x 400 m relay at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi .

At the 2011 World Athletics Championships in Daegu, she reached the semifinals over 400 m hurdles and failed with the Australian relay in the preliminary run. At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 and at the 2013 World Cup in Moscow, she reached the semi-finals over 400 m hurdles.

In 2014 she was fourth at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the 400m hurdles and in the 4 x 400 meter relay. At the Continental Cup in Marrakech , she was eighth in the 400 m hurdles and fourth in the Asia-Pacific 4 x 400 meter relay.

At the 2015 World Championships in Beijing, she advanced over 400 m hurdles to the semi-finals and did not get past the first round in the 4 x 400 meter relay .

So far, she has been eight times Australian champion over 400 m hurdles (2005, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2013-2015).
