Lauren Francesca (born May 2, 1992 in United States ) is an American actress , musician , comedian on viral videos and an Internet personality on YouTube . She published several videos on YouTube, including on the channels Barely Political , CollegeHumor, Epic Meal Time, Philip DeFranco, Jacksfilms, Bo Burnham , Indy Mogul, Mondo Media, Ninja Sex Party and Totally Sketch.

Lauren Francesca was born on May 2, 1992. She is the daughter of Fred Siretta, a Broadway actor, dancer, and choreographer who has worked with directors such as Elia Kazan and has appeared with Jo Ann Cifala on the Broadway show, Very Good Eddie, and Whoopie . At the age of ten, Lauren Francesca performed "America Sings" in a solo for more than 500,000 people at the Washington Monuments . She began studying at the age of eleven and was later accepted as a full-time student at the prestigious Joffrey Ballet School . She attended the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) in New York City , where notable personalities such as Jesse Eisenberg , Alicia Keys , and Claire Danes studied , among others . In her freshman year at PPAS, she was also inducted into the Junior Division of the Alvin Ailey School . She briefly attended Fordham University , where she continued her studies on a scholarship (preclinical medicine degree), but later moved to the New York Institute of Technology , where she eventually graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in preclinical medicine and biology .

In 2008 and 2009, Lauren Francesca published numerous commercials, e. B. for AT&T , MTV , Comedy Central and Spike TV . She also appeared in various music videos with musicians such as Los Campesinos! , Wisin & Yandel , Method Man & Redman , and Don Omar . She studied improvisation with the Upright Citizens Brigade .

In 2010 she appeared in a music video for Bo Burnham's song "Oh Bo".

In February 2011, Lauren Francesca started her own YouTube channel IWantMyLauren with Jeff Gurian. She also frequently works on this channel with actor and internet personality Walter Masterson. On which she, as she herself explains, portrays Lady Gaga as well as Madonna, Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian. She also portrayed a number of original characters, such as Miss Innapropriate and Tammy the Tiger. She also started her own vlog channel SecretLifeofLauren at the same time.

In November 2011 she was featured in the music video of episode 6 of "Next Time on Lonny" Lonny Ruft Revenge.

In March 2012, Lauren Francesca began starring in the science fiction parody series Space Girl on Barely Political. Space Girl was chosen to compete at the 2012 New York Television Festival.

As of April 2012, Lauren Francesca appeared as Alice in Zenescope Entertainment's Comic Company YouTube web series.

In October 2012, Lauren appeared in the ninja sex party music video for her song "Unicorn Wizard" from her album "Strawberries and Cream". Lauren can also be seen on the album cover.

On January 5, 2013, Lauren Francesca appeared on the web series Lenox Avenue: The Series Chapter IV. She also served as the series' production coordinator.

Filmography

In 2009, Lauren Francesca appeared in her first supporting role in the feature film The Gate of Fallen Angels . She appeared on the series Jersey Shore alongside actor Vinny Guadagnino .

Don Peyote, One Night Alone, Catskill Park and Muck: 2012-2013 Lauren Francesca appeared in other films. She also appeared in the film Hellbenders , which closed in 2012. Hellbenders was presented at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2012 . She also appeared in the movie Bad Parents , which was released in 2013.

Lauren Francesca was also the producer of Una calle sin Salida , which was shown at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival .

On October 8, 2009, Lauren Francesca appeared on The Daily Show in the "Still The Boss" music video with Jon Stewart as a dancer, produced by Rapper Slim Thug by Daily Show senior correspondent Wyatt Cenac. On January 18, 2012, Lauren Francesca appeared as a secretary on the Investigation Discovery series of the episode "The Sausage King".

Lauren Francesca appeared in two episodes of season 3 of the FX comedy series Louie .

Lauren Francesca is currently working on a pilot project with writer Rex Pickett , author of the novel Sideways .

Lauren Francesca has also released two singles through the iTunes Store: "Hottie" and "Comic Con Anthem". A corresponding music video for "Comic Con Anthem" was uploaded to YouTube on October 18, 2011 and can be viewed there.

Lauren Francesca is currently working on an album with singer, songwriter and keyboardist Mark Mangold .

On May 1, 2013, Lauren Francesca released her original music video "Pay My Rent" on her YouTube channel.
