Laurent Lokoli (born October 18, 1994 in Bastia , Corsica ) is a French tennis player .

Career

Laurent Lokoli mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . So far he has celebrated two single and one double victories on the Future Tour. On the Challenger Tour, he won the doubles tournament in Blois in 2014 .

He made his Grand Slam debut at the French Open in 2014 when he played his way into the main draw via qualification . In the first round he met Steve Johnson , against whom he failed in just five sets. In doubles , he and Tristan Lamasine received a wild card for the main draw of the tournament. As in the singles, the doubles already ended in round one, they lost in two sets against the Spanish duo David Marrero and Fernando Verdasco . After qualifying for the first time in an individual, he improved his ranking by 76 places and was 330th in the world after the French Open.
