Laurynas Edisowitsch Kulikas ( Russian Лауринас Куликас ; born April 13, 1994 in Kiel ) is a German football player of Russian descent.

Career

Born in the Schleswig-Holstein state capital Kiel , the striker began playing football at FC Kilia Kiel . In 2009 he moved to the youth department of Holstein Kiel , where he a. a. played in the U-17 and U-19 Bundesliga .

For the 2011/12 season, Kulikas joined FC St. Pauli . There he played for a year exclusively in the A-Jugend (U19) before he made his first appearances for the second team in the fourth-class Regionalliga Nord in the 2012/13 season . With seven goals in nine games, Kulikas was able to recommend himself for the first team. After two unused squad nominations on the 23rd and 25th matchday, he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga on March 15, 2013 , when he lost 4-2 at 1. FC Union Berlin on the 26th matchday in the 86th minute of play Jan-Philipp Kalla was substituted on. In the following season Kulikas came to no further appearances in the first team. He played 19 times in the Regionalliga Nord and scored ten goals.

For the 2014/15 season , Kulikas moved to the second team at VfL Bochum . In 18 missions in the Regionalliga West he was able to achieve four goals.

After the second team of VfL Bochum had been canceled, Kulikas switched to the second team of Hamburger SV for the 2015/16 season . He received a contract until the end of the season. For the second representative of HSV Kulikas could not score in 18 missions.

After his contract with HSV had not been extended after one season, Kulikas moved to Eintracht Norderstedt within the Regionalliga Nord for the 2016/17 season . During the winter break of 2016/17, Kulikas signed a contract with TSV Steinbach in the Regionalliga Südwest until summer 2017 .

After the contract expired, Kulikas moved again, this time to the Schleswig-Holstein Oberliga for VfR Neumünster . After the club's financial difficulties, he left VfR during the winter break and went to the Holstein Kiel reserve . With her he rose to the regional league at the end of the 2017/18 season .

Outside the soccer field

Together with his family, Kulikas runs a construction company with a focus on drywall and masonry work in Kiel.
