Le-Thanh Ho

Le-Thanh Ho (born January 29, 1987 in Munich ) is a German musician and actress with Vietnamese roots.

Life

Le-Thanh Ho's parents came to Germany in the 1970s during the Vietnam War . Ho grew up in Munich and went to school there. At the age of 8 she had piano lessons for a short time, as a teenager she founded a music group with five boys and became the front woman of a ska-punk band. The group played in and around Munich and won various competitions. Since Ho had already written columns for newspapers and magazines during her school days, she began to write texts for the group in addition to singing, and later on she wrote her own compositions. With one of her compositions she applied for the youth musical project System Error , in whose ensemble she was accepted and for which she wrote two titles.

From 2003 Le-Thanh Ho received training in various artistic fields, such as singing (classical, jazz and pop, chanson ), modern dance and table dance or camera acting . At the spectacle Munich Ho received from 2008 to 2011 acting classes and completed her training with the stage of maturity .

In May 2014, Ho's EP Zellophan was released , with Elephant she released her debut album in June 2015 , which was positively received by critics.

After her stage debut in the musical System Error , Le-Thanh Ho was, among others, in Heppel & Ettlich in 2011 in the play We create ourselves from seeing, and she played shoes in the Berlin Theaterhaus Mitte . Ho worked in front of the camera in several short films as well as in supporting roles in an episode of the ZDF series SOKO Wismar and the Tatort episode Maybe .

The artist, who has received numerous awards, currently lives in Berlin.
