Career
Film career
His career began in the equipment teams for various films such as Men in Black and Independence Day , later he mainly shot music videos and commercials (including for Intel and PlayStation ). Following the success of the Underworld films, he was selected to direct the third installment in the Die Hard series, Die Hard 4.0 . The action film with Bruce Willis in the leading role opened in German cinemas on June 27, 2007. Wiseman's new project was a remake of the film The Rattlesnake (1981) until October 2007 ; but then directing was taken over by Brett Ratner , only to be resigned shortly afterwards. Wiseman and Ratner are still favorites for directing work. In 2010 he directed the pilot episode of the Hawaii Five-0 television series .
In the summer of 2012, Wiseman's science fiction film Total Recall was released , which, like the 1990 film Total Recall, was based on a short story by Philip K. Dick .
Wiseman was also involved in developing the Sleepy Hollow series and has been an executive producer since it began airing in 2013.
