Lendvajakabfa is a Hungarian community in the county Lenti in Zala county . In terms of population, the place is one of the 20 smallest municipalities in Hungary.
Geographical location
Lendvajakabfa is about 15 kilometers northwest of the town of Lenti , on the small river Szentgyörgyvölgyi-patak , a good one kilometer east of the border with Slovenia . Neighboring municipalities are Resznek and Nemesnép . Across the border is the Slovenian town of Kobilje, three kilometers west .

Lendvajakabfa was mentioned in writing as early as the 14th century under the name Jacobfia Janusfolua .
